Lézard & Balthazar is a creative and strategic communication agency, and for the launch of Etihad Airways’ new Abu Dhabi–Tunis route on November 1, 2025, we were mandated to lead the full PR strategy surrounding this milestone. The new connection strengthens Etihad’s presence in North Africa and consolidates Abu Dhabi’s position as a global hub for connectivity to the Middle East, Asia, and beyond.

We designed and distributed a targeted press invitation, orchestrated media mobilization, and coordinated all journalist interactions to maximize visibility for this strategic new route.

The activation at Azur City Mall — led by Etihad — benefited from enhanced press coverage thanks to our careful selection, invitations, and media coordination. This approach allowed us to:

  • Generate immediate and high-quality media coverage

  • Build a coherent narrative around the launch

  • Strengthen Etihad’s presence in the Tunisian market

  • Highlight a key milestone in the airline’s expansion strategy
